Cain Pitches Perfect Game

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the perfect game is the new no hitter. And the no-hitter is the new shutout. That said, 14 strikeouts, in a perfect game is still insane. So let me do this properly…. Matthew Thomas Cain. And that was a classic perfecto. He had filthy stuff and the perfect flat line personality to get through it. And sure, it didn’t hurt to have his guys back him up with 10 runs in the first five innings.
