Flip Of The Coin? (page 32433)
I don’t know about you, but when I think of the Olympic Games, I think of the glory of the competition, the great sacrifices made by the athletes. The pageantry. The flip of the coin. Wait. What?? Sprinter Allyson Felix and Jeneba Tarmoh finished in a dead heat for third in the 100 meters at the Olympic Trials. So now, they have two choices: they can have a run off to see who goes. Or they flip a coin. And no I’m not kidding. If they both choose the same option, that’s what they’ll do. If they choose different options, they’ll run it off. If they both fail to make a choice, there’s a coin flip. Seriously? They may let George Washington decide who the Olympian is? Why not just tell them you’re thinking of a number 1 to 100: whoever is closer to it, gets to go!
