Nice to see disgraced former Penn State president Graham Spanier land on his feet. Spanier, of course, he was fired for his role in the Jerry Sandusky scandal and could be looking at time in the hole for perjury and failure to report. But he’s not worried. In fact, he’s already on to the next thing: “for the next several months, as I transition to my post-Presidential plans, I will be working on a special project for the U.S. Government relating (to) National Security.” Wait, what? Nothing says maintaining National Security like alerting the media to your work on National Security. And let me get this straight: you had no interest in reporting the possible rape of a child on campus, but you can’t wait to report that you just landed a gig in National Security.
