Alabama v. LSU Saturday isn’t the game of the century. But it is the game of the year: 1 v. 5. Defending national champs v. Defending SEC champs. And the defending champs are rolling into Death Valley as a ten point favorite. Yeah I said it. The number 5 team in the country, and defending SEC champ, is a double digit dog at home…at night…in one of the toughest stadiums on the planet. That’s humiliating. Almost as humiliating as what happened the last time these two hooked up. January 9th, 2012, a day that will live in infamy for Tiger fans. Alabama: 21. LSU 0. With only one trip across midfield. And it doesn’t look as if it will go much better for the Tigers this time around either. And yes, LSU has been tested this season and Alabama hasn’t. But do this. Tell me one thing, LSU does better than Alabama. You can’t. And what Bama does better, they do a lot better. LSU needs to run on Bama, and won’t be able to, which means they’ll need Zach Mettenberger to pass on them… and he has about as much chance of doing that successfully as I do. Bama 24, LSU 10: and the Nictator is in line for another shot at the BCS Title.
