ODB Is A Problem

The Giants are a dysfunctional, undisciplined mess. And it starts with the star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. who is now officially a problem.

Officially now, a problem to himself and his team. Beckham, again, got hooked by an opponent. Xavier Rhodes got in his face, locked  him up and then got him to melt down, goating him into a taunting penalty.

And this is no one off. Obviously, this is not the first time he’s lost his dome. In fact the book is out on this guy: hit him in the mouth coming off the line, play him physically, stay on him and you can frustrate him and take him out of the game: or better yet, let him take himself out of the game. And that’s what happened.

And notice his coach and teammates are not coming to his defense. In fact, it was just the opposite: his quarterback Eli Manning didn’t put it on the Vikes db’s or the officials, he put it on his own guy: “he’s got to be aware. People are looking for him. He’s got to play smart and he can’t afford to do anything there. They’re going to call on him. He’s brought that on himself. And he’s got to realize that.”

How’s that taste, ODB? Your own q.b., who never has anything to say about anybody, just called you out publicly. He said no one has done anything to you: you’ve brought it on yourself.

And Manning’s right; Beckham has brought it on himself; and it keeps happening. He’s volatile, easily hooked and every team knows it. He has to know every guy he faces going forward is going to be right in his face, looking to get in his head and take him out of his game. He should have already known that.
