The Big Ten fined Michigan $10k and publicly reprimanded Jim Harbaugh for smashing the refs after Saturday’s loss to Ohio State. Harbaugh went on and on about how bitterly disappointed he was in the officiating, especially their spot on J.T. Barrett’s fourth down run in the second o.t. and he complained about some “outrageous calls” and said, “I’m bitter.”
We know. Pretty much about anything and everything that doesn’t go your way in life.
But again, questionable officiating is not the reason you lost that game. The fact that you turned it over three times, on the road, including a pick six and a fumble at the one yard line, is. Own that.
Because blowing a ten point second half lead when you’ve dominated most of the day, and then blaming the officials for your team’s inability to finish, is the worst kind of look.
Win with class and lose with class. And this guy generally does neither.
