NFC Championship Game Prediction

Steeler Nation might argue, but the Packers are definitely the hottest team left in the tourney: and it’s not always the best team that wins.

In fact, it’s often not the best team that wins. Usually, it’s the hottest team. Or the healthiest team. The Packers are definitely the hottest team. But they’re not the healthiest team. Far from it. Aaron Rodgers receiving corps is banged up badly. In fact, ESPN reports Mike McCarthy says Jordy Nelson is not with the team today because of an illness and they want to keep him away in the event he’s contagious. McCarthy, when asked about Nelson, Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison, said, “all three receivers will be given every chance to play in the game. They have work to do particularly in the rehab. If we know tomorrow, we’ll know tomorrow. If we know Sunday, we’ll know Sunday. One or two of those guys are probably going to have to work out Sunday.”

Aaron Rodgers joined us in the Jungle yesterday and admitted having Nelson and Adams jacked up physically isn’t ideal, but he’s not concerned about it and expects to go in there and win with whoever he has.

The Falcons are loaded. Matt Ryan is probably going to win the MVP. They’re at home. They run the hell out of it. And they’re a much more physical team than they’ve been in the past. A much different team than they’ve been in the past. Really, there’s no way I should pick against them. But seeing how well Aaron Rodgers is playing, I can’t pick against him. Not when he’s playing as well as he is. Better than he ever has. Better than any quarterback ever has.

There’s just something about Aaron Rodgers right now. Dude usually runs on premium fuel; now it’s rocket fuel. The dude is so dialed in, playing at such a high level…. so confident… but so calm…and… and… he has the Jungle Karma, and admits he’ll probably mix in some Seagal before the game.

How are you going to go against that: maybe the best q.b… Ever… with crazy Jungle Karma and do is breaking down tape of Seagal in the dark room this week: I’d riding with Aaron Rodgers Sunday.

Given all that, no way I pick against this guy.
