Safe to say there’s some skepticism around the Masters as to whether or not Dustin Johnson fell. Not that any of them care; it just means more money to them and an easier shot at the green jacket, but you know there are some playing who doubt the veracity of that story.
Just like there are some who question whether or not dude really did hurt his back lifting a jet ski back in 2012. Safe to assume then, that this is probably the only guy on tour that would be in this position. As good as he is, and right now there’s no one better, dude just finds himself in one bizarre mishap after another. Both on the course and off it. Over and over again.
Even if that’s not what happened, and I’m not saying it didn’t. But even if dude didn’t fall down his stairs, none of the other players there care. It’s just money for the rest of em.
I’m not saying it didn’t happen. I’m saying it doesn’t sound right: one thing to fall down a flight a stairs. That’s hard enough to believe. But to do it the day before the Masters? As the top ranked player in the world? And riding a three tournament win streak, where he’s playing some of the best golf of his career? Hmm.
