If you don’t really know: you look at the Clippers and you see the obvious star value: their big three of Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin… have a boatload of All-Star appearances and commercials amongst them.
Meanwhile, Utah’s big three of Gordon Hayward, Rudy Gobert and George Hill are barely known outside of Salt Lake City. But those who know, know the Jazz are no joke. And they won 51 games, same as the Cavs.
Difference is, the Clippers have a ton of playoff experience; the Jazz not so much.
Then again, the Clippers’ experiences in the playoffs haven’t been very good so they’ve got a ton of pressure on them. Big time players are supposed to show up in big time games, so the Clippers should win. At least they better.
Get bounced in the first round by Utah, and they’ll never live that down and they’ll have to blow that thing up once and for all.
