There will be blood. Everything you need to know about this match-up, you could have learned when they last played ten days ago.

Calgary’s Mark Giordano took out Anaheim defenseman Cam Fowler with a cheap shot. And now the Ducks could be without one of their top defenseman for up to six weeks. And they come right back and face the guy who did it.

Head on a swivel on, Giordano. An eye for an eye, and if the Ducks aren’t looking to quote …re’accommodate Giordano’s knee or his face, in this series, you know they will at a later date.

Losing Fowler is a blow to be sure, but one the Ducks are deep enough to overcome.  And they absolutely own Calgary in their house; they’re unbeaten in their last 25 against them at the Honda Center dating back to 2004. They’re pissed, they have a ridiculous home ice advantage against these guys and they’re going to win.

Not sure I’ve ever said this before on this show, but go Ducks!!
