Unlike the Celtics, the Toronto Raptors came through in a must win situation outlasting the Bucks last night. Had to have it. They played way too soft in game one. And had they show up like that again last night, this series would already be over.
Kyle Lowry, who was crushed for no-showing in game one, bounced back with a big effort last night. He was way more aggressive and confident than he was in Game 1; and these guys, especially in the playoffs, go as Lowry goes. So he had to bring it last night. And did.
Now, they’re not out of the woods yet. Far from it. But lose that one and this series is already over. The Bucks are no joke. And they’re not a good matchup for the Raptors. They’re just so freaking long. And the Bucks have their attention.
Milwaukee is every bit that team you don’t want to see in the postseason. And then some. And the Raptors are going to have to really grind to get out of this series. They’re going to need Lowry and DeMar DeRozan to be heroes every night and someone else is going to have to step up, or they’ll go down. Because you know the Bucks and the Greek Freak are going to have a little something for them when they get back home. Big win. Must win. But if I were you Raptor fan, I’d be really concerned.
