If you were wondering how Nick Saban is dealing with ANOTHER undefeated September, let me tell you: Terribly. Because Bama is THROTTLING FOOLS and it’s making the Nicktator absolutely furious. Because if you thought Nicky would be happy after beating Ole Miss 66-3 you’d be wrong. If you thought Saban would take the podium postgame with a little smile after absolutely trashing the one program that’s had success against him the last few years under everybody’s favorite 1-900 HOOKER dialer, you’d be wrong.
Because does this guy sound happy? Does the guy who has beaten two straight SEC opponents by the combined score of 125-3 sound like a guy ready to answer THIS question?
Nick. Chill bro. Crack open that coca-cola on the podium. Unwrap a Little Debbie. I know it’s not realistic for you to have the 24-hour rule to celebrate a win, but at least have a 24 MINUTE rule. And before you ask, who does Bama play next — Clemson? Georgia? The 1985 Bears? — the answer is Texas A&M — a 26-point underdog in their own house, and a team that’s recovered nicely to win four-straight after choking away the opener against UCLA, but has hardly looked dominant in squeaking out wins against Nichols State, Arkansas and South Carolina.
But say this about Saban. You can tell how much he likes his football team by how red-ass’d he gets at his pressers. And if the last two weeks are any indicator, he really likes this football team. And he really hates reporters asking him about it. So as we get ready to watch Alabama take on its next test — and heading to College Station and going up against defensive coordinator John Chavis and an offense that breaks out an occasional “pimp stick… counts as a test for Bama,” get ready for Saban to burn a hole through another journo daring to ask Saban about another Alabama blowout win on Saturday night.
