Plenty of people owe Kyrie Irving an apology, because, busting out of Cleveland and getting away from LeBron was obviously the right move: he’s killing it in Boston. And it’s already his team.
So for those who were killing him for forcing his way out; and saying be careful what you wish for; ya’ll were wrong.
And come to find out, Kyrie knew exactly what he was doing: the Celtics are killing it in the east and the Cavs are struggling to stay at .500.
Look at Kyrie and look at LeBron and try to tell me that Kyrie made a huge mistake. He didn’t.
Obviously, at this point in their careers, LeBron needs Kyrie worse than Kyrie needs him; and Irving knew that and he bounced.
Better opportunity, better situation. It was his time, and he knew it.
Uncle Drew couldn’t have played that situation or the Cavs and LeBron any better than he did.
